After more than 15 years of working as a consultant in the Prêt à Porter fashion business and several stays in Asia, I realised the difficulties that companies have in finding the textile manufacturers corresponding to their specific needs.
Fit Sourcing was created in 2007.
Almost 2 years were necessary to develop this project, of which the major part was spent in China.
The research development targeted the East of China, going from Hong- Kong to Shanghai, most of the manufacturers being implanted in these coastal provinces.
This research allowed me to acquire:
- a good knowledge in this field
- the understanding of the particularity of every region and every city
- the perception of the Chinese culture to ask the right questions and above all to obtain the right answers
- an assessment of a very big number of Chinese companies.
